A two-in-one wireless charger, the device plugs into an open USB-C slot on your laptop, desktop, or port hub, instantly giving you a handy place to charge either an Apple Watch or your AirPods Pro case. That way, you can keep just a single charger for both on your desk that’s also small enough to tuck into a desk organizer with your pens, thumb drives, and whatever else you like to keep on hand. It’s very convenient.
The Satechi USB-C Watch AirPods Charger is, basically, a rectangular device with a USB-C connector on the edge, so you plug it directly into an open port, with no unsightly cables dangling anywhere. It’s equipped with a QI charging pad that’s shaped to accommodate an AirPods Pro charging case on one side and a disc-shaped charging surface for the Apple Watch on the other, so you plug it in with whichever side you will use facing up each time out. Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be a way to use both sides at the same time, unless you duct tape both devices on there and angle your laptop sideways. Yeah… that’s just not good, but it should absolutely work if push ever comes to shove.
While the one-at-a-time design might not be ideal for those who want to charge all their gadgets at once, it should be fine for most folks. Especially, when it comes with the convenience of being able to keep just one charger for both that has absolutely no cables that you’ll have to roll up and keep out of the way once you’re done using it for the day.
The Satechi USB-C Watch AirPods Charger has an aluminum build, so it should perfectly complement your similarly sleek Apple accessories, with a white finish for the charging surfaces to make it easy to make out which side is designed to charge which device. There’s a small charging indicator to let you know whenever current is actually flowing properly, too, so you get the visual cue while still retaining the minimalist aesthetic that Apple fans will always appreciate.
Dimensions are 1.7 x 2.3 x 0.6 inches (depth x width x height), so this is a really compact charger. That means, you can squeeze it into, pretty much, any pouch on your bag or any corner of your drawers at the office, making it very convenient to keep around at all times. This compact size should make it easy to plug it on a laptop you’re currently using, too (it won’t obstruct anything), although, we have a feeling you’ll occasionally knock whatever is charging on top when you’re busy typing up a storm on the keyboard.
