Under Armour Charged Bandit 2 While it's named as a successor to the Bandit, UA's newest trainers are nothing like the Bandit. In fact, they may be the outfit's best trainers yet.

We’re not entirely sure why Under Armour decided to name this new trainer after the original Bandit sneakers. I mean, it wasn’t exactly the brand’s shining glory. In fact, the Bandit was, pretty much, derided by most. Despite the potentially confusing naming, the Under Armour Charged Bandit 2 is an entirely different model and just may be the best pair of trainers the outfit has turned out yet.

Yes, this is an entirely new shoe, one that seems to share more with the UA Slingshot than the original Bandit. It looks different, it’s constructed different, and it’s built to perform a whole lot better, making for a pair that may very well become your new favorite footwear for daily pavement runs.

The Under Armour Charged Bandit 2 is cut in a heathered upper that’s lightweight and breathable, with plenty of stretch, ensuring it can conform to any movements your foot makes inside. Designed to fit better than any of the brand’s previous running shoes, it comes with an internal heel cup that locks the foot in, elastic on either side of the tongue to really clamp it down, and firm external heel counter that keeps the back of the foot in place.

Features include ultrasonic welded seams, molded Micro G footbed, a two-piece midsole that’s firm below the heel and soft below the forefoot, and deep flex grooves on the rubber outsole for added flexibility. They also threwin high-abrasion rubber along high-wear areas to give it better durability.

Available now, the Under Armour Charged Bandit 2 is priced at $99.99.
